The bed grows together with your child. The height of the slatted bed base is adaptable to 3 different heights, depending on the age and the development of your child. In the beginning, your baby sleeps in the closed bed with 4 slatted sides. When your child gets older, the bed can transition to the next step by removing a slatted side and replacing it with the half open side that is included with the package. This half open side functions as a bed rail and prevents your toddler from falling out of his bed during the night. Once the toddler is used to sleeping in an open bed, the half open side can be removed. In the final stage, all slatted sides can be removed. Once your child has outgrown the bed, the bed can easily become a first sofa. Just ad a few comfy pillows and you can enjoy the sofa for years to come!
